Highworth Town v Reading Town

Post  BRAMLEY on Sun Sep 30, 2012 6:33 am

Another very enjoyable afternoon invested in the Wiltshire countryside. Butchers Army engineered a valuable 3-0 victory when they could very well have been all square at 1-1 midway through the 2nd half period.
A classy finish from Graham Lewis via a quality Adam Jefferies cross was the difference at half time.
Highworth spurned their penalty opportunity to equalise and Reading finished the stronger to take the spoils with two goals from striker Richardson. Nathan Silver was immense between the sticks throughout and was deservedly the MOM.
Thanks to Highworth for their hospitality and James for taking the Barmy Army today - much appreciated.
