Non League Day 2010

An excellent initiative has been setup to get more football supporters along to see their local Non League side next month. Saturday 4th September will see no Premier League or Championship fixtures being played as its an international week, so fans of those clubs have been invited along to their local ground to sample Non League life. Saturday 4th September sees Town host Witney United at the Lane and with fans in the local area looking for their football fix, perhaps bumper crowd will be in attendance. I myself will not be in attendance as its the first game of the season in the Reading Football League so, like most Saturdays this season, my afternoon be spent with the local team I help coach.
