Almondsbury Town P-P Reading Town (10th Jan)
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend even if Saturdays game was abandoned just before the 2nd half was about to start. Last time these two played it was in the FA Vase which saw the Reading boys lose 1-0 which I remember very well as it just rained all day long, Raymond dislocated his shoulder early on, got abused by one of their fans at the end of the game singing: You can shove the blumin tripod up your arse well something along those lines One of their fans then nicked our song sheet at the end which is supposed to be top secret after all that got back at 8:30pm after going to Mcdonalds and then going to collect Ray from hospital.
So that day was just a little bit eventful
Might be going to the game, will know by Friday or Saturday

Just to let everybody know that todays game away to Almondsbury has been postponed due to a frozen pitch. The next game for Reading Town is a trip to Sandhurst Town in the Berks & Bucks Trophy on Tuesday 13th January. Lets hope the weather starts to improve by then or you could be looking at another postponed match
It's not the only game to be postponed
Abingdon Town P-P Hook Norton
Milton United P-P Shrivenham
Fairford Town P-P Kidlington
Hungerford Town P-P Witney United
Carterton P-P Shortwood United

No surprise that today's games are off to be honest. Not even the Premiership is safe with games at Fulham and Portsmouth being called off.
Just had a look at the five day forecast for Sandhurst. Minimum temperature of minus two there today, four tomorrow, six on Monday and then zero on Tuesday. Don't know whether Sunday and Monday will be enough for the pitch to thaw out, but with it being zero on Tuesday and the match being in the evening, I'm half expecting it to be called off.
