Cheltenham Saracens 3 Reading Town 2

Two late goals from Graham Lewis, taking his all-time tally for the

club to 100, were not enough to prevent Town from losing to a

Cheltenham side that had THREE men sent off on Saturday.

Two home players were dismissed as a result off a mass confrontation

following an incident which left Town's Shannon Jesson minus a tooth.

The visitors were trailing 2-0 at the time, with Saracens having

scored through Josh Swales after three minutes and Simon Slender in

the 33rd minute. One came from a free-kick and the other from a

corner. exposing Town's vulnerability from set pieces.

Town had chances themselves to score, but found the home keeper in good form.

Cheltenham saw red again when a player picked up his second yellow

card, but they still managed to extend their lead with an Elthan Moore

penalty on 75 minutes.

Town, with depleted squad, also had a player sent off, as they tried

to make their numerical advantage count.

They managed to pull back two late goals, both scored by Lewis, the

second coming from the penalty spot.

The club's all-time record scorer has now netted100 goals in all

competitions for the club.

Town have now slipped into the bottom three.
