Re: Hooky game today!!!
The Reading boys had the opening chances with saw the ball shave the post and also the keeper make a save. Eighteen minutes in and Reading Town took the lead thanks to a smart finish from Brooksy when one on one with the keeper. Reading Town continued to make chances one of which hit the post and 4 minutes before the interval James Clark headed it past the keeper to make it 2-0.
Second Half the Reading boys scored early on to make it 3-0 when the ball was slotted past the keeper. The Town made it 4-0 in the 51st minutes when Brooksy hammered the ball into the right hand corner. Hook Norton did have a chance to get a goal back but the shot was well saved by Chris Grace. Afterwards Dean Thomas had a crack at goal which saw the bar shake and the follow up go wide of the goal. The game did get a bit ugly near to the end with a sending off of a Hook Norton player after he was given his second yellow card and also a player from Reading Town (Tristan Dennis) was given a straight red for violent conduct.

Re: Hooky game today!!!
A match spoilt by the blustery conditions in my opinion, although both teams did try to play on the floor.
Town worked the harder in midfield to create the opportunities that were taken and 3 points with another clean sheet was the result.
"Stick around if you love Reading" - and possibly netball?
