Butch Gone Millard In
Michael Butcher resigned as 1st Team Manager this morning.
He feels that he unable to get any more out of the players in order to escape our potential relegation position. He has therefore decided to stand down so that, in his words, "a new Manager would have enough games left to turn things around." His Assistant Sean Kelleher is also leaving the Club.
Colin Millard has agreed to step into the breach until the end of the season and he will be assisted by current 1st Team Coach Andy Silver.
Colin however, is not available this Saturday due to work commitments, so Andy will be in charge for our visit to Marlow FC.

Re: Butch Gone Millard In
It is the future of the Club that matters and it is in good hands with Colin Millard at the helm.
In my view the majority of the players have to date shown they are capable of competing at this level competently. Time to move on and string some performances together for the remainder of the season as a squad.
Best wishes to Michael Butcher in whatever role he applies himself - an honest guy who the Barmy Army respect.
Let's all get to Marlow and get behind the lads!!

Re: Butch Gone Millard In
Sorry to see Michael Butcher go. Hope he does well in future football endeavours. Lets wish Colin luck for rest of season. Have not had a chance to say Colin Millard's Barmy Army. I joined the Barmy Army under Rody Slater's reign.
Re: Butch Gone Millard In
Good luck to Butcher in whatever his plans are in the future, I am sure he can learn a lot from his time at the club and use it in a positive way. Good to have Colin back and we will have to see how the lads react to this and look at the player movements of in and out of Scours Lane.
Re: Butch Gone Millard In
Andy Silver and Colin Millard will do the business there is no doubt. There is a steely resolution about the lads enhanced by the return of James Knight, Graham Lewis and Danny Seaward. Our job as fans is to back them and get points on the board for the remaining part of the season!
