A big well done to RT today with Shortwood slipping to a draw is this finally the year RT go up?
I see there was atleast one RFC supporter (according to hob nob website) who has had enough at the Madejski to come and watch some proper footy today despite another pish poor attendance. Koshi is in negotiations with his RFC supporting uncle to tag along and visit RT in the coming weeks to show better value for money. Expect Koshi down at Scours Lane sometime soon. The clubhouse will be glad to see me as well

A superb performance from the lads yesterday afternoon. Got off to a great start going 1-0 up in the 4th minute courtsey of a header from Mark Hughes. From then on in the Reading boys posed a threat down the other end. Pegasus Juniors had a half chances to get back into the game when the ball was put into the box but both Chris Grace and his defence dealt with it well. The Reading boys doubled their lead in 30th minute when Will Bratt was brought down in the penalty area and Brooksy stepped up to the spot, which saw the ball go into the bottom left hand corner. After the Reading Town the goal it saw Pegasus Juniors on the attack brefiely but their shots weren't really troubling Chris Grace in goal. Reading Town scored another goal to make it 3-0 with Dean Thomas beating the keeper low down to his left with a well directed header.
Second Half: Made a fantastic start to the second half only 6 mintues in and Scott Rees makes it 4-0 by scoring a cracker of a goal, with the keeper having no chance and the ball flying into the top right hand corner. Also very nice celebration with the flip (and you could say it was HOT) Afterwards it saw the Reading boys create some more chances one of which was a curling effort goinng towards the top left hand corner by Dean Thomas but it just went inches wide. The Reading boys were looking for the 5th goal which saw Ross Herridge collide with the keeper and saw Brooksy trying his luck from just outside the box. Brookys finished the game off with a neat finish putting it past the keeper to make it 5-0. He wasn't finished there as he was also struck in the region where it hurts most when he was part of the wall for the freek-kick.

There's at least one who went to The Hawthornes and realised why he's spent most of the season at Scours Lane.

Very Well played last night, great score as per usual, but the ref was a bit harsh with the offsides, so thought we could have got the 4 disallowed goals,
can't wait for Tuesday, see you all there.
B.T.W, Absolutely CRACKING goals, especially Scotty's almost top corner thrash!
