Had a one or two chances in the first half and so did the hosts too. Ascot went into the break 1-0 up. Didn't create anything in the second half and Ascot on the other hand hit bar and made Nathan Silver produce some fine saves to keep Reading Town in the game. Ascot got 2 before the clsoe of play the second goal coming from a good strike from former Reading Town player Ian Brooks and the other beating Silver at his near post to make it 3-0.

The next four games are crucial in our battle to stay above the bottom four that being Highworth at home Tuesday, Saturday away to Ascot United, Newbury at home the following Saturday and then Highmoor Ibis on the Monday.
