Reading Town Ladies Win 4-1 Away to Launton
Congratulations to Andy Norris's ladies for beating Launton this afternoon away from home 4-1. After being beaten 9-2 last week, with a controversial decision of sending off the Town keeper it's a great response from the ladies and shows great fighting spirit. If any of the Ladies have joined the forum could you tell me a brief report so I could put it on the website.
Re: Reading Town Ladies Win 4-1 Away to Launton
Report from the Launton Ladies FC Site.
Launton Ladies 1 - Reading Ladies 4
Reading Town Ladies capitalise on disappointing Launton
Reading Town Ladies ended their poor start to the season yesterday with a well deserved win over Launton Ladies. Reading took the lead early on when Fields headed in a swinging ball from the right, before Davern's wayward cross ended up in the back of the Launton net soon after. Launton's hopes were raised shortly before half-time when Gadsby pulled one back after running on to a long ball.
However, those hopes were dashed early in the second half as Fields capitalised on a Launton mistake leaving her one on one with the keeper before heading home her hat trick only a few minutes later. Launton's performance was far from what they have displayed in previous games as Reading continued to play the better football and finished worthy winners.
Launton
Madden-Connor, Crook, Carss (Creed), Graves, Gayton, Metcalfe, Gadsby, Barber ([***]), Crawley (Bardell), Dixon, Casserley
Conratulations to the squad and management - must have given you all a huge boost.

Can hardly believe a back to back win for the Ladies team - this time in the FA Cup.
Good work team, The Barmy Army look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
