Bicester Game Tonight Empty Reading Town 3-0 Bicester Town

Post  RTFC Barmy Army Wed Nov 04, 2009 10:20 am

I thought it was even for the majority of the 1st half with both teams having a sniff at goal and Bicester having a few chances from corner/free kicks. The turning point was when the Reading boys were awarded a penalty which was slotted into the back of the net to make it 1-0 just before the interval. The Reading boys did score another two goals to make it 3-0 but it could have been more if it wasn't for their goalkeeper who made some superb saves. Bicester did have one or two chances in the second half which were dealt with Chris Grace which saw one effort being tipped over the bar.

Mission accomplished and 3 points in the bank.
Not the best of games, but hey I'm not complaining as I was never good enough to play at this level anyway.
Looking forward to the next fixture at home on Saturday.
