Tonight's Match
For a friendly it was very competitive. Both teams were looking to impress before the season gets started. Both defence's were strong tonight and allowed very few chances to the forward line. Thought Reading passed the ball well, but became frustrated when things did'nt go their way. My first opinion of Reading town FC was superb and they play fooball on the floor. I believe the team are up for a good season ahead.
BTW Thought one player was fantastic and could step up to Conf Prem very easily.
With regard to Hungerford............number 16 SHUT UP

Re: Tonight's Match
Both teams had a few chances and the game was played in a good spirit which saw the Reading boys put in a good shift. The Barmy Army didn't make any noise this evening as we didn't know many of the players and just getting back into things but don't you worry once the season starts the flag will be flying high and the Army will be in full voice.

Always hard to sing at a friendly, some how it seems inappropriate, also not knowing any players does'nt help.RTFC Barmy Army wrote:don't you worry once the season starts the flag will be flying high and the Army will be in full voice.
Was actually suprised how many people turned up for this match.

Good to see a video highlights of Friday night's match.........well done sir !! . Just one comment , the young lad who went for the volley as it approached the shed end, needs to improve more on this particular skill. lol

There's tekkers and then there's Andrew. His first touch is not great currently, but he has a good voice and a sense of humour that compensates!!
