Time to award Clubs the nod of approval by the away travellers of Reading Town FC.
Who were the best hosts on our travels?
Who had the best facilities?
Where was the best food?
Who made you chuckle etc?

Seeing as nobody is exactly falling over themselves to post - I'll kick it off.
Some very good contenders this last season and my top 4 are as follows.

1. Ardley United - They responded well to the banter and their fans of all ages sang/chanted. Could have a significant Barmy Army if they organised themselves. Great food as always and the management/coaching team were top notch - always a pleasure to visit win or lose.
2, Almondsbury Town - Ready to meet and greet as soon as into their ground. Players and staff like some banter and they deserved their promotion. Food excellent and a joy to meet their fans who are very knowledgeable.
3. Wantage Town - Colin is worth his weight in gold for his hospitality - great character. Wide variety of food options and served promptly. Their players always seem baffled and bemused by our songs LOL!
4. Shortwood United - A long trip when you come back with nothing, however the warmth from the true fans and the quality of the food compensates. Scenic venue when there on a Saturday - very well run Club.

Who were the best hosts on our travels? Wantage Town always make you feel welcome and Colin offered us a piece of cake at half time but we forget to go and get some and he also loved chatting with us.

Who had the best facilities? Witney United has plenty of places to sit/stand so good chance to move around whilist watching the game for away supporters. Also nice clubhouse with the live football on a large screen.

Where was the best food? Well this one is tricky as there are so many to choose from but I am going to say Bicester Town, their bacon baps would melt in your mouth and warm you up.

Who made you chuckle etc? Almondsbury Town because their players couldn't stop laughing at the songs we were dishing out to them espicially their keeper who must have been thinking "how the hell did they find that out" LOL
