01st Sep Tues Reading Town 5-0 Ascot United
Reading Town return to league action this tonight when they take on Ascot United at Scours Lane. Match Video and Match Report will be published on Wednesday afternoon.

Thanks for all the efforts put in by you lads tonight.
No doubt that there will be tougher tasks ahead and also that you guys are well up for those challenges as well.
It's time that more Mad Stad fans took the short trip down to Scours Lane to get behind you.

Quite agree Bramley, If things go tits up at RFC this season and RT stay up there at the top it could bring a few more down at the Lane later in the season.
As for the result last night another good victory (if not expected) against one of the whipping boys of the division, disappointed by the attendance for a localish derby match, but Ascot aren't exactly well supported, so probably didn't bring many. Saturday will be a much harder match as they take on Wantage who will be one of the teams challenging for honours come the end of the season, and a win against them will really put RT in the driving seat.
