My thoughts will follow, once I have done the match video.

just read their version of events on their website, not particularly factual and biased. Not surprising when their manager actually thinks they have a better squad than us despite us beating them for the 3rd time this season!

Both teams had a few chances early on, which were saved by the keeper or went wide of the mark. The Reading boys went ahead about midway through the first half when the Abingdon keeper came to collect the cross but there was a lack of commuincation and it saw an Abingdon player score an own goal, to make it 1-0 to the visitors. Afterwards Abingdon had two chances one shot which was well blocked by Michael Buck and the other saved by Chris Grace. The Reading boys kept plugging away and this saw a corner come which saw the ball headed goalwards and the keeper held it to keep it 1-0 and also a free-kick which missed everyone the box but nearly creeped into the back of the net.
Second Half and Reading Town created the early opportunties, with a corner causing the keeper problems he got his legs in a tangle but some how he kept it out. Shortly afterwards James Clark made it 2-0 with a supeb strike outside the box, the ball going in off the post and the keeper had no chance. The Reading boys had some more chances with Scott Rees free-kick going over the bar, then another chance saw Dean Thomas back heel the ball to Ian Harvey, who has his shot blocked by the guy between the post and the keeper made a second saved when James Clark had a pop at goal. Abingdon hit back with their own chances with a couple of corner kicks and also free-kick which was saved by Chris Grace.
The match video is now online.

Just wish to thank the Abingdon Town staff for their hospitality last night.
Food was excellent again as previous visits and the bar staff also great. The Abingdon players took the banter well and seemed to be enjoying their spell under Marco this season.
I have always enjoyed a visit to Culham Road - long may it continue as the Club has a proud history and maintains it well. Enjoy the remainder of the season.

Good result and a fantastic effort to get to our second consecutive final. The other semi-final see Newport Pagnell take on Sandhurst Town. Would be nice to have an all-Berkshire final this year. Any idea of a date and venue for the final, as I'm in!
Re: Abingdon Town 0-2 Reading Town 9th March (Berks & Bucks Semi Final)
Date is still TBC according to the Berks & Bucks FA website, though looking at the dates of the finals over the last few seasons they seems to have have in the last week of April. Tuesday 27th would go in line with that.
As for venue, again TBC, you'd think they'd have it somewhere roughly halfway between the two teams, but last year it was at Abingdon United much to the delight of New Pagnell.

Newport Pagnell Town 5-3 Sandhurst Town last night, so a repeat fixture to last season.
Venue could well be somewhere in deepest darkest Buckinghamshire I reckon. :/
