Looking forward to a home match again at Scours Lane.
Make sure we all show just how much we appreciate the lads efforts this season.
Recognise that it was never going to be easy and that nobody promised that it was going to be.
We really don't care if Reading FC are still in the FA Cup - all the genuine passion is at Tilehurst!!

ps: Combesy bring the chips!!

Looking forward to the game tomorrow and it will be good to be back at Scours Lane as haven't been there for a while to see a home game due to the postponments.

The first 30 minutes not many chances for either side. After that The Reading boy did create some good chances which saw the Fairford keeper tip a shot over the bar. The Town were awarded a free-kick during the first half and James Clark’s effort was tipped onto the bar by the keeper and went out for the corner. The Reds kept prodding away with a shot from Graham Lewis and his effort was well tipped over. Then with about a few minutes to go before the break Graham Lewis was put through one on one with the keeper and the guy between the posts made himself big so he saved the shot, so going into half time it was 0-0.

Second half both teams had some chances with James Clark making the keeper palm his effort behind for a corner and also saw Chris Grace make a point blank save (great save to keep it at 0-0.) Not long after Chris Grace's superb save Brooksy made it 1-0 when he coolly slotted it past the keeper one on one in the 60th minute to make it 1-0. Fairford looked to get back into the game but another fine save from Chris Grace saw the score remain 1-0. Around about the 75th minute James Clark latched onto a lose pass, took it round the keeper and scored from an acute angle to make it 2-0. Afterward the Reading boys were still threatening with shots from Danny Williamson which just went wide and Dwayne made an instant impact coming on as sub weaving in and out of the defenders, and his shot fizzed past the goal. Near the end of the match the ball was cleared off the line after a Reading Town corner was swung in and the game ended 2-0.

Sorry if I didn't get the timings of the goal bang on and match video now online.
