Reading Town 1-0 Abingdon Town (13th April)
Just like to say what a great performance and result last night with everyone doing their bit to get all the three points. Reading Town's next game is against Abingdon Town on Easter Bank Holiday Monday (3pm Kick Off.) Abingdon Town are currently 18th in the league and have 37 points.
PS: Rumour is that the Pink Panther could be making a visit to Scours Lane

It's never going to happen (pitch invasion) but the Pink Panther might be there!!!

A lively game at Scours Lane today with both teams having chances to go ahead with Aaron Parfitt having his effort one on one with the keeper well saved and Abingdon nearly scoring when the ball looked to be creeping into the bottom left hand corner but Chris Grace pulled off a tremendous save to palm it away to safety. Reading had some more chance with dangerous balls being pinged into the box one of which saw Danny Williamson fire over from close range. Abingdon also had some other chances which saw Chris Grace in action again.
2nd half some more chances for the Reading boys but couldn't find the back of the net. Midway through James Clark found the opener to give Reading Town a 1-0 lead with a nice placed header into the bottom left hand corner. After the goal the Reading boys continued to press and have more chances in front of goal. Abingdon then went close with a free-kick but it was well saved by Chris Grace. Danny Williamson had a chance late on to make it 2-0 but his shot went slightly wide. With only minutes to go Abingdon had a free-kick which saw their keeper go up for and saw the ball being punted down to Graham, who had a shot at goal but the keeper got back to save it just in time.

Yep, well done to Reading but lets hope they can take the good form into Thursdays game against the best team in the division and get another 3 points and try and remain unbeaten till the end of the season.
